While this lawnmower manufacturing company is known mostly for farm and acreage units, there happens to be a division that makes great riding lawnmowers. That skill set was put to the test last weekend at the annual Oaktoberfest 2011Riding Lawnmower Race at Post Oak, Illinois.
If you happened to be present at this great racing event, then you were in fine company as all of the fanatics of lawnmower racing were on hand to witness history in the making. The racers gave it their all, and in the end, it was the #1 racer, atop a dynamic, speedy, resilient, Briggs-engined riding lawnmower, that took home the glory and the prize, for this racing day extravaganza!
The #4 racer, the Land Pride combatant perched upon a sweet 2010 Land Pride ZT60I, with its zippy 31 HP Kawasaki engine, ran into a little bit of trouble with the carburetor and did not finish the race. It was a good try though and everyone at the race had a special time anyways!
